Amanda Poses
Founder and Travel Consultant

Amanda’s love for travel started young. Her upbringing was the perfect jumping-off point for what would become a life enhanced by frequent travel. Those adventures, coupled with her Manhattan lifestyle, ignited an appreciation for art, fine dining, wine, and cultures different from her own.

After relocating to Austin in 2014, Amanda continued to embrace her global wanderlust by tapping into her network, experiences, and sophisticated tastes to provide uniquely memorable travel with a creative flair. Amanda is a planner by nature and provides flawless and exceptional client service and experiences. She lives by the motto “Don’t just meet expectations. Exceed them.”

 

JoEllen Bax
travel assistant

JoEllen’s passion for the travel industry grew from her experiences curating luxury destination weddings as well as her own extensive travels, both abroad and domestically, with her family and friends. JoEllen’s first career was as a financial consultant for Ernst & Young. Seeking to follow her creative and entrepreneurial desires JoEllen spent seventeen years running a successful luxury wedding and event business. We are now thrilled that JoEllen has decided to “take her talents” to Poses Travel & Company.

JoEllen’s love for details, passion for customer service and her business acumen will make her a trusted resource for our valued clients. She believes that every event and vacation should be an intentional experience full of personal details curated to reflect each client’s specific lifestyle and personality.

 

Carly Davis
Travel ASSISTANT

Carly’s passion for travel provides the inspiration for curation of unforgettable trips and memories that will last a lifetime. As a wife, mother and friend Carly appreciates how tough it can be to get away and how much we all need a good break. She strongly believes that the sky is endless with travel opportunities with your partner, family or friends.

Working closely with Amanda, Carly plans every element of your vacation from A to Z, so all you need to worry about is what clothes to pack.

Prior to joining Poses Travel & Co, Taylor spent several years as a family assistant, where she honed in on her organizational skills and attention to detail. Having worked so closely with families, Taylor understands that all families have different needs. Her ability to cater to a family's specific set of needs is something she is excited to apply to her career in travel-planning, ensuring that each trip is thoughtfully curated

Residing in sunny San Diego since 2018, Taylor enjoys living in a place that feels like a permanent vacation. Exploring this vibrant city over the years has fueled her passion for travel and inspired her to dive deeper into other parts of the world.
